I remember first meeting Eimear when she returned to IOB after completing her final year in DCU. She had a lovely warm smile, exuded confidence and seemed wise beyone her years - none of these qualities left her.

Eimear was one of a kind and a credit to all of you. She will be missed very much.

We met canvassing during Repeal, she was so committed and showed great leadership, with warmth and good humour too. We remembered each other from our school days as well. I met Eimear in first year in DCU and we have been friends ever since. When I think about those college days, Eimear is always a huge part of the memories. We always had fun whether we were in a lecture, in the library or dancing up a storm on a night out. I will miss her intelligence and humor. I will miss her dancing. I will miss her friendship. She kept me on my toes with her quick wit and I always had to up my sarcasm game around her. Thinking of Eimear's family and wide circle of friends at this time. Eimear, may you rest peacefully. x

My sincerest condolences to Eimear's family and wide circle of friends. My memory of Eimear is that of a witty, supremely intelligent person who loved a challenge in every sense of the word. My last memory is Eimear working the room in the Convention Centre, and discussing our upcoming travels as we laughed about how we are now in our 40s. I know Eimear will be watching over the upcoming Referendum and reminding us of how when you are told your place: challenge it. Rest in Peace Eimear.

Gavin and I both had the pleasure of working with Eimear.

I will miss her, her kindness, wit and honesty immensely and the laugher (most recently over her ‘icks’) that we shared.

To the family and friends of Eimear my sincere condolences. I did not know Eimear long but for the time I knew her she made a great impression on me. It turned out we had lots in common being the 'baby' of a big family and we shared lots of experiences as a result. She was a warm, generous, kind and empathetic person. It was clear to me how much she loved her family in particular and I know they will miss her very much as will we all. I have just attended her service which was a fabulous tribute to a fabulous person, well done to you all, she'd have loved it. May she rest in peace.

Eimear was a good friend to me during our time at Scoil Chaitriona. We used to walk home together as we had the same route. We hung out and had some great times and she was so fun to be around.

I was so sorry to hear of her passing. I am unable to attend the funeral due to illness but she is in my thoughts.

So shocked and so sorry to hear of Eimear's passing. We liaised closely with the IOB during the Retail Banking Review and Eimear was a key contact who was always helpful and enthusiastic, as she has been the period since. I last saw here at the IOB Future of Finance Awards where she hosted the table I was on. She looked fantastic and was a truly charming and welcoming host. My sincere and deepest condolences to her family and to all her colleagues in the IOB. She will be missed.

Eimear & I shared the same taste in music & liked to think we were Picturehouse’s biggest fans! She was a great friend & we shared many a deep & meaningful teenage chat on the walk home from school. A true adventurer, Eimear shared some great travel tips with me over the years. Sending sincere condolences to Eimear’s lovely family who welcomed me into their home many times all those years ago. Eimear & I had a lovely catch-up just last summer & it was wonderful to chat to her in her usual bubbly, articulate & fun loving form. She will be terribly missed by all who knew her. I am so shocked and saddened to hear of Eimear’s sudden death. On Friday night at the IOB awards, I had a brief but very warm encounter with Eimear going up the escalator to the event. She came behind me and complemented me on my dress and I turned around to see this beautiful, sparkling face smiling at me. I told her she looked amazing! She was so happy and bubbly, it is hard to believe she is gone. My deepest sympathies to her Mam and all her family, colleagues and friends.
