We were deeply saddened to hear of Eithne’s passing. You are all in our thoughts at this difficult time.

Dear Terry and family,
We have never met, but Eithne was my friend at QUB as we both lived at Aquinas Hall. Many happy times were spent together during those years in Belfast and I will always remember Eithne’s smile and laugh! We lost contact when I moved back home (Barbados). I have often wondered where life took her and see that Eithne was blessed with a loving husband, children and grandchildren.
My deepest sympathy to you all and to all those who knew and loved her.

He may not remember us but he was always kind and caring to students particularly when they had difficulties with some members of the department.
