You know Mrs Crean, myself and Eithne had only agreed on taking the busses necessary to get to Coolock from Navan, just a few short weeks ago. (When I would, after 7 years of knowing Eithne, finally meet her "Queen" as she so often called you, and rightly so.

But in typical Eithne and Ali style - we forgot!

I will miss your calls to Eithne each day, particularly at the weekends where you would blissfully relay all the varied sports you had planned to watch on TV. Golf, Gaelic, Soccer, Rugby and Hurling. Your legacy lives on among your beautiful children and grandchildren etc. An inspiration in kindness and in wit.

So sorry to hear the sad news of the passing of Mrs Crean. Our heartfelt condolences go to Anne Marie, John, Joe, Brendan and Eithne on the loss of their dear mother. Also to Joan on the loss of a much loved sister and best friend and to all the extended Crean and Brophy families on their loss. My fond memories of this lady go back to my childhood. Spending a great deal of time in Dunree with Anne Marie and the gang. Remembering fun times spent on holidays in Ardamine where Mrs C was always welcoming, kind, generous and Patient!. She took it all in her stride with the usual good humour. May you now rest easy Mrs Crean after a long life well lived.
