I was in the same ward as Eithne in Naas General Hospital last May. She was an amazing lady. I enjoyed her company and have mentioned her often since. I was sad to hear of her passing. Condolences to all.

Sincere sympathy to Tommy, Liam and the extended Daly family. I had the privelege of taking a loan of Ballymore jersies over the years when the opposition had the same colours as Eadestown. I would go over to Mrs Daly and after a long chat she would go to the hot press. Well there was more clean jersies in that hot press than you would see In Elverys Sports or Clerys (when it was open). She would count out the jersies to me 1,2.3........up to possibly 25. They were put in a bag and off I would go. You would leave them back as soon as possible clean , folded and then Mrs Daly would count them to make sure I had not lost any of them!!. What a great memory and she was always interested did Eadestown win? She was a great Ballymore GAA supporter and will be sadly missed by anyone that was lucky to meet her. May she rest in peace.

Tommy, Liam and the Daly family our deepest sympathy to you all at the loss of Dee. She was truly a remarkable lady and she was a very big part of the Headon Family. As Fiona said in her words she was a very straight talking person and for most of my life (Joe;s that is) she would be sure to comment on my waist line. When we visited her she was so up to date with everything and you never came away without a sense of awe at her interest and positivity. She definitely was 101 years young, may she rest in peace.
