I was shocked to learn of Eithne's passing.Sincere condolences to Peter,Stephen,Paul Michelle and Emma.Robin Cahill captures well my own dominant memory of Eithne (and the Harding family home ) as a welcome space for teenage friends of the family.Eithne was kindness itself to these 'moody teenagers'. Although she is gone from us definitively,I have no doubt that she is very much alive in the God in whom we all' live and move and exist' Ar dheis De go raibh a h-anam dilis.

Our family spent many times enjoying her company, usually at a family celebration and no one was prouder of her family than Eithne. She will be forever remembered by all of us.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs Harding. Lovely Lady who will be missed from Pappins Rd.RIP.

Eithne was a big part of my life as a young teenager. The Harding house was always a welcome and happy house. We would call for 'Stevie' and I always remember it was one of the only houses that you'd be invited into to wait for Stevie to come down. It was grand though as we would then always have the chats with Eithne and Peter. Thinking back now, it was lovely to have that, she made you feel like a normal person didn't treat you as a moody teenager. She gave us respect and didn't baby us... (Too much)

To me, Eithne was a classy lady, a card sharp, really decent and genuine. A gentle and loving mother. A lot of these characteristics rubbed off on Stevie but also the rest of her children and it is just a testament to the tour-de-force she was.

This is a very sad time for the area. Eithne, thanks for everything, it's been my pleasure knowing and spending time with you over the years. I'll miss you. Rob xxx

The Moran family are totally devastated by the death of Auntie Eithne. The 4 sisters meeting up for cards and “coffee” on a Wednesday in Fernhill Road is part of the Mahon history. She will be sadly missed by us all.

It is with great sadness and very heavy hearts that we have learnt of the sudden passing of our dear Aunty Eithne. A true lady in every sense of the word. We have so many great memories of great times spent with her and the family.
