So sorry for your loss Eithne was a wonderful lady who I had the privilege of knowing. We had many chats and cups tea and a few giggles. She had some great advice but always worried about how I'd get home from work. It was a pleasure knowing and working with you in HOB in the 1970s. An absolute Lady.
Eithne was a truly remarkable woman - kind, engaging and humorous for the near century of her life. Full credit to Sally Ryan and to the staff of Middletown House for making her last years comfortable and enjoyable.
So sad to hear of Eithne Hess leaving us. Had great conversations with Eithne during her time in Customer Relations. She was superb at easing hurt of any passenger having a difficult time in the care of Aer Lingus. She won them back every time. Heaven will be a better place having Eithne.
Only knew Eithne and Brenda for a short period whilst they resided in Courtown Demesne. Eithne was a real 'Lady' and lovely to chat to, when we met while out walking in the lane. May she rest in peace. Brian & Grainne Lawlor.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Eithne. She was a lovely lady, so considerate and kind. I encountered Eithne and Brenda when they attended the auctions at Mealy's over the years.
Eithne, may the angels guide you into heaven where you will be reunited with Brenda and all your family. Rest in Peace.
Eithne was one of the first persons I worked with in AerLingus in 1966. Even then she had lived a very full life. Eithne was a force of nature - and could easily have run the airline - or even the country - if given half a chance. A wonderful person who gave every encouragement to young staff joining the airline . RIP
I am very sad to hear about Mrs Hess. My first job was in the Customer Relations Department in Refunds Section of Aer Lingus where I met Mrs Hess. She was a kind, encouraging and supportive person. May she rest in peace.
