Pery sq and hartstonge street began,of the past ,with auntie Eily and Nan ,Jimmy and patsy Which they loved talking about and the great sing songs .

Hi Jane Sandra and Seamus I am so sorry to hear about Eithne, I have so many memories of meeting your mother and Hilda with my aunt Mary Shanahan in Harstonge St and later in Castletroy, I was always made so welcome, Eithne was a Lady to the core and well never be forgotten for her kindness and generosity.

Eithne was such a loving and welcoming lady in Harstonge Street in Limerick where I visited often the family in bygone days. Her mother Daisy is my godmother . I have fond memories of you all as children . May the good Lord comfort you in your loss and may he hold Eithne in the palm of of his hand . I shall offer Holy Mass for the repose of her soul. Although I only met Eithne a small number of times I remember her and her lovely sister Hilda as two kind and lovely ladies who hardly knew me but cared enough to visit with a gift when it meant so much.
