Eithne McCarrick

Sincere condolences to all Eithne's family and friends. I love this photo of Eithne as shows the little smirk in her eyes. Eithne was so quick witted. You never knew what she would say! What I remember about Eithne is her loyalty and dedication to her work and colleagues/friends in the Fees Office and staff of University. She was a wealth of knowledge and an advocate for students. She was also kind, generous with her time and supportive to students providing a listening ear. I shared coffee breaks with Eithne over the years and she was so interesting.... she sent me photos also of her furries Hero and her gorgeous garden over the years she said to help with hectic times. You are greatly missed Eithne.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Eithne's passing. She was a fantastic person, so thoughtful and helpful and so funny. I loved receiving pictures of her beloved dogs, sent to help soothe away any work woes! She really was an amazing person. My deepest condolences to her family.

Eithne was so kind and encouraging to me when I was a post-grad student in NUI Galway. It was always a pleasure to meet her in the Fees Office or elsewhere on campus. May she rest in peace.

Shocked and saddened to hear about Eithne's passing. During the chaos of registration, she was just magic when it came to fees, always a joy to hear if she was dealing with a query. May she rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear the shocking news of Eithne's passing. She was a wonderful person with a great sense of fun. Eithne was never officious but always kind and helpful to staff and students alike, often going to great lengths to solve problems for others. Eithne was a colleague who made one proud to work in the University.
