I just heard about Mrs McKeon's passing. Very sad news. I have fond memories of playing hours of football out the back garden in Templeville with Hugh. A lovely lady may she rest in peace Paul

I met Eithne at the Gaiety School of Acting at the over 50s group. She was a warm, quiet, friendly, mischievous woman. We bonded immediately. She was a master of improvisation and such fun. We enjoyed many a lunch at the ‘Queen of Hearts’ cafe discussing life’s ups and downs and a women’s life journey. She was so wise. I will always remember our sold out one night only at Smock Alley created in the main from Eithne’s imagination and directed by our much loved Claire Maguire. Thanks for the long lasting memories Eithne. Rest in peace💕

RIP Granny. A memory of mint crisps and cans of coke bought from the little shop in Tramore on the way back to Ocean View from the amusements so Michelle and I could have a "party" is the first that comes to mind. Fond memories indeed, and only one of so many.
We feel so lucky that Declan got to meet his Great Granny just last month.

Granny inspired me more than she will ever know! She was such a gentle woman, whose strength and spirit always amazed me.
Her great grandchildren were lucky enough to have met her and they loved to visit her and search for the milky mints!
