I have just heard this sad news today - I was only thinking about Eithne this morning, wondering when she was coming down to Meadowfield. She was so cheerful, big smile as she passed by or calling in to see if I needed anything when the children were small. Lynsey, Steven and Gavin - she was so proud of you, always updating me on what you were up to, and full of pride for her grandchildren.
We will walk the beach in her memory this evening.

I have lovely memories of Eithne in Meadowfield - on the deck, the long chats, and cups of tea - and wine! Her wonderful smile and her gift of knowing everybody - from the tiniest baby to the grandparents who visited - Eithne knew everyone!
I lit a candle, and walked the beach remembering happy times.

I was very sad when I heard of Eithne passing and I prayed and went to the road to line up, there with so many people, to say goodbye.
Eithne was a lovely woman, full of kindness, joy and caring for family and beyond.
I moved to live beside her parents the day before her marriage and for 20 years, very close to the happening, in the family. There was always an smile, time for few words and to say how happy she was with the grand children.
You will miss Eithne, but I am sure she will be closer now, no barriers of space or time.
May she rest in peace and give you consolation and peace. With love and prayers.

I will always remember you Eithne as one of my dance teachers. You gave me many happy memories both in class and at competitions. You were more than just a dance teacher to me you were my mentor, my supporter and my friend.
