Deepest Sympathy to William, Frances, Niamh and Con on the loss of Eithne.
Eithne was our neighbour when we came to Newcourt Road and was our regular babysitter. When she was unavailable she would always find someone to fill in for her and never let us down. She was a kind and obliging person and it was sad to hear of her passing.

Just heard the sad news of Eithne passing. May she Rest in Peace. Condolences to William, Dessie & Eithne’s Mum & family. She always had a lovely smile whenever you met her around Sandymount.

Eithne had the greatest smile, the funniest humour and her entrance into heaven will light up the sky.

I remember reading the Eulogy at Mam’s funeral and Eithnes kind face lit up the huge congregation and I gained massive strength and comfort from her.
I’m glad I told her that day what a difference she made.

Eithne on any given day always radiated brightness and kindness and had an incredible way of bringing people together. Shortly after our first meeting as neighbours Eithne had connected our Donegal ancestry, Loreto days and our love of dogs. The life of one is weaved with many. Sincere sympathy Will and to Des, Michael and all Eithne's family, may your hearts be comforted at this time. Eithne shine on as you rest in the fullness of peace.💛

As one of her friends, I can say that she has been an inspiration to all of us, with her knowledge and analytical mind you were always sure of a good conversation. We will miss her greatly in our circle. She had that great quality of bringing everyone together with her easygoing and helpful ways and has now left us with a bundle of precious memories to treasure.

So very sorry to hear of Eithne’s passing. She took part in lots of our studies in UCD and she was delighted to win a raffle after one of them! She was so helpful and came up with creative ways to help us run some of our studies including with ordering taxis for volunteers. She had a great sense of humour and was very patient with my many incorrectly conducted purchases over the years! She will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences to Eithne’s family.

I was so saddened to hear about Eithne’s passing. She was such a very kind & generous person and I have many fond memories of her & some late night chats, drinks and poker which I was very bad at. She always asked about others and that shows you how truly kind she could be.
