When we lived in the same cul de sac in Broadmeadow she was the most wonderful neighbour. Her advice and words of wisdom were sought any time any of our children were sick or you needed a second opinion! A real mammy to us all.
Then in recent years we met regularly at morning mass in St Cronans. She was a ray of sunshine.

It is with a heavy heart that I write these condolesces to Niall, Sorcha, Darragh, Séan and all Eithne's grandchildren and extended family. I have known Eithne since her move to Rolestown in the 1970s when we were young married women and walking our children to Rolestown school together. We were members of Rolestown ICA over all the years and enjoyed our Wednesday morning walks with our ICA ladies and other social activities. She was an inspiration especially over the past year and never complained about her ill health. We will miss her wit, her steady counsel and her company. She and her beloved Noel are united again. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
