We visited Eithne in Wicklow as we were friends with her brother, John Gannon here in Melb. Aus. (All from Elphin.)She was such a good humoured, welcoming and interesting and interested person. Condolences to all the family. May Eithne rest in peace

Eithne was a great neighbour and creative soul may she rest in peace. I will remember her fondly from jumping over the fence, to visit her for her lovely brown bread and flower creations. Thinking of all the Wright family at this time.

Eithne was at a writing class I was in a few years back. I loved her poetry. How she captured a time in London for Irish men and women now fading to memory. I bought her book. I re-found it on my bookshelf a few days ago. Lovely lady. Rest in peace and safe journey to our next stage.

Im very sorry to hear of Eithne's passing. I have fond memories of walking up from the town with my oldest son (now almost 26) and meeting Eithne pushing her granddaughter up home too. We had many great conversations. Condolances to all of her family 💔
