I just heard that Eleanor has passed away. My deepest sympathy to Jerry Clara, Jerry and your families.
I remember many years ago going into Hilsers with Nana Kirby. I used to love the smell in there....strange, I know. Eleanor was always behind a small counter. I thought she was the most glamorous woman in the world.
I'm very sorry to have missed her funeral. She came to Macroom to many funerals. She was an absolutely lovely lady.
