of working with her for a short time in Scoil Iosaf and what a beautiful,gentle, kind and authentic lady and colleague Eleanor was not to mention the inspirational, devoted and passionate teacher, inspiring both colleagues and pupils. She left a lasting and rich impression. I loved to meet her occasionally at Tarbert Education Centre during summer course week for a chat. I am so saddened to hear of her passing. My deepest sympathies to Emily, Maria, all the staff and pupils in Scoil Iosaf whom I know will feel the loss hugely. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. May

I have very fond memories of her as my 3rd Class teacher in Scoil Iosaf. Then, last year I had the privilege of returning to Scoil Iosaf on my M.I.C. off-campus placement. I worked with Miss Hennessy in 2nd Class. She was a truly inspirational role model. Rest in Heavenly Peace Miss Hennessy.

We are deeply saddened by Eleanor's untimely passing. She was a wonderful teacher to our daughter Clara; we will never forget the time, care, patience and dedication she showed her. Clara loved Ms Hennessy and what a special and remarkable teacher she was in preparing her for the sacrament of holy communion. We will always remember the love and guidance she showed her.
