On my own behalf and on behalf of The Members of TWSG I offer our Heartfelt Sympathy to Jim. Anthony, Peter, Lucy, Kate and Jamie and to all others who mourn the loss of Eleanor.
Eleanor was a member of TWSG for the past decade or so, her good humor and lively banter were always welcome.
It was a very special occasion for all when we arranged a Special Day in her honor. One Wednesday Hannah Looney and Lynda Collins brought along The O'Duffy Cup. Jim came along too with Eleanor's All Ireland Medals as well as her Munster Championship and Gael Linn Medals. The high-lite of that day was a video clip of Eleanor playing in goal in the 1971 All Ireland Senior Camogie Final.
Rest in Peace Eleanor I've missed your lovely smile and especially your banter.

The Cork Camogie Board extends our deepest sympathy to Jim, Peter and Anthony on the sad passing of Eleanor.
Mel Cummins as she was fondly known to all camogie people was an outstanding goalkeeper for the Cork Senior Camogie team winning two All Ireland Senior medals in 1970 and 1971 as well as Munster championship and Gael Linn Medals. She also won three county senior medals in 1969,70 and 71 with her club South Pres PPU.
