We were so sad to hear of Eleanor’s passing. She was such a character. She would have visited us many times in Innishannon on her way to Courtmacsherry and gave me many a ticket for a Cork GAA match.

To the O'Neill Family, The Harkin family and the Ferguson family, We offer our deepest sympathies upon hearing the sad news of Eleanor's passing. She was a lovely human being as the many kind messages of condolence
mentioned. They remembered her as a gentle sweet and generous person
who was spontaneously and genuinely kind to everyone.
She enjoyed her lovely family, and her long and happy life, but also had her share of sorrows. She was bright and intelligent right up to the end, and was blessed with an encyclopedic memory - she never forgot a person or place or name, and could recall endless memories and stories and details.
She was my gentle loving sister for almost 90 years and I miss her.

Eleanor O'Neill was my aunt, my father Maurice O'Flynn's sister.

She was funny, kind, and a character who loved her family endlessly.

Very saddened to hear about Eleanor's passing. She was a lovely Lady. I have lovely memories of her while growing up. As Children in Kinvara, I remember that We used to love to think that she was like Florence Nightingale with her Nurse's Cape when she would be coming home from night duty, and I remember how she would always sweetly smile at this 🙂 She was always such a lovely pleasant Lady with a lovely smile and a lovely neighbour to have had.
