As for our group,Eleanor was a much-valued member - she was kind, friendly, thoughtful, popular with everyone, and she had just become our new Chairperson. We were looking forward to seeing her back from her trip to Australia, and perhaps hearing an account of her adventures. But the Lord had other plans.

Sincere condolences to Michelle, Emmett, Breffni, Con, Brendan and extended Power and Griffin families on the sudden death of my pal Eleanor. I will miss our chats in town and her telephone calls to catch up. She was a sincere, genuine and beautiful lady and her death was such a shock to all. She was so proud of her family and especially her grandchildren.

Resting now in the arms of her beloved Murt and her beautiful parents and brothers, her Crown truly deserved. Rest in Peace in your new Heavenly Home Eleanor, we will miss you. 😢🌹🙏🏻🕊️💔🕯️

I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Eleanor. She was a wonderful neighbour whose bright and cheery presence always brightened the days of all those she encountered.
