The passing of Mum brings profound sadness to many who knew her, especially Pat her caring and loving sister. All of us have our special memories of the special times we spent with Elish our Mum, Sister, Grandma, Great Grandma and friend. Reunited with Jim and in God’s arms may you gently rest in peace. A Grandmother like no other. I will always remember the excitement of waiting for you to arrive for holidays and our many happy picnics. You will be missed by us all.

I have fond memories of visiting Jim and Elish with my father (her brother Peter) and my siblings. We always received a warm welcome and had lots of laughs (and biscuits too). I pray that she finds eternal peace as she is reunited with Jim. Rest in peace, Elish.

Elish was a well loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. We were grateful for the years of sharing holidays and Holy days with her. She was a steadfast presence at births, marriage and baptisms. Father we ask that you bestow on her the joy of your peace, that she may know eternal rest with you in paradise.

Truly heartbroken to hear of the passing of elish we were her hairdressers for a number of years and during this time we became pals. Elish loved her magazine Ireland own and she wud save them up and bring them into us we wud browse the personals to find me a husband and we would end up in tears laughing elish had the sweetest voice and we would sing all the come aul ya songs. We will miss you but we know you are singing with the angels rip elish your pals Sandra and Bernie
