My condolences to the family of Betty on her passing. She was a lively and intelligent person with a great fund of stories, many of them travel related. She was a caring person who showed sympathy and understanding to all. Rest in peace Betty.
I was very sorry to hear of Betty’s passing and I extend sincere condolences to her sister and relatives at this sad time. Betty was a wonderful colleague, always positive and helpful and, following her retirement, was involved in organising the Retired Staff social events. She will be sadly missed but very fondly remembered by all who knew her.
My deepest sympathies to Betty’s family and friends. Betty was a truly lovely person filled with kindness and good humour who was held in the height of regard and affection by all her colleagues in the Department. She brightened up the day for everyone she met and will be missed by all of us who were fortunate enough to have known her. RIP Betty.
Rest in peace Betty. Anyone who worked with you in DOE know that you leave a trail of good deeds, good memories and lots of laughs to be remembered by. You worked in several areas and your kindness when you served in the role of staff welfare officer will not be forgotten.

She was a wonderful woman full of fascinating stories always told with so much passion and knowledge.
I always remember the lovely meals we used to have as kids in the house and how she cared so well for our family dog (Lucky) when we went on holidays.

So sorry to hear of Betty's passing. I remember her from my days in Personnel in the Custom House. She was always full of fun. I remember a gang of us being at a dinner in Eileen McCormack's (RIP) house and Betty saying "for God's sake girls, drink gin & tonic, it's the only positive drink" May her kind & gentle soul rest in peace.
