Nuala, Jimmy, Dessie, Ger and Vincent, my condolences to you all and extended family. I was sorry to hear of the passing of your lovely mam Betty. I remember when I was in Greendale community school and, on a rainy day if she saw me, she would not let me rush home at lunchtime; she would call me over to the house and insist I came in for lunch and keep dry. She was generous with what she had; she was the salt of the earth. May she rest in loving peace.
