My sincere condolence to the family of my dear friend Betty .RiP. Today i am remembering the many good moments we shared.I first met betty in the mid sixtieswhen we both were renting bedsitting rooms in the same house on Cromwellsfort rd .I was a struggling medical student and betty was working at a large wellknown bakery..Our friendship grew and we shared many great laughs and nights out going dancing at the metropole!!Some two years following graduation i emigrated to Canada, however we still kept in touch .During frequent visits back to irealand a visit to the cozy apartment in Drumcondra was always a highlight. I am so pleased that i was able tovisit with her several months ago at the nursing home in rathfeigh. I shall always remember her generosity of spirit, her kindness to me ,her loyalty and her sense of humour .God bless you Betty my dear friend
So sorry to hear of Betty's passing. She was extremely kind to me when I started working in Forte - a very long time ago. Condolences to her family and friends. RIP Betty.
