I had the honour of being her carer during her final moments at Grange Con Nursing Home. It was a privilege to witness her quiet strength and the love she held in her heart for her family.

Tara Lawn was my second home on Friday nights for most of the 80's & 90's. I have wonderful memories of that time, listening to music with Dave, and getting to know the O'Connor family and extended family. Betty was very welcoming to the "Boy from Barryroe", and was always such great fun.

Dave, Tina, Sandra, and also Ray, deepest condolences to you all, and to Betty's brothers and sisters. It is the end of an era, and while I'm sad about that, those treasured memories will always bring a smile to my face.
