Just heard this very sad news. Charlie’s brother Alex and his wife Patty were my Aunt and Uncle and we would always pop in to see Betty at work and at Michans. She was always so stylish and full of life and laughter. Our deepest sympathies to all the family.

My deepest condolences to all of Betty’s family. I always enjoyed calling down to Betty’s house for a chat and a few biccies with Ciara, may she rest in peace.
Aunty Betty always bright, bubbly and laughing. Never forgot my birthdays, Christmas and even Easter. So good to my children too. Only a phone call away for Mum (Dympna) when Dad (George) wasn’t well. With me in the hospital when Mum died even though it was only a couple of months since she had lost Charlie. She was one in a million alright, will always be remembered with love. Rest in peace Aunty Betty.

So sorry to hear of Betty’s passing. She was a wonderful neighbour for many years. Such a beautiful Lady, always with a happy smile. May she rest in gentle peace reunited with Charlie.
Betty had such an infectious smile and every room she entered filled with her warmth. I was privileged to have her as my great aunt, and have fond memories of Christmases spent with Betty. She was quick witted and kind hearted and always had time for you. I can still hear her saying 'jeewhizz' with enthusiasm as my younger self told her a story I'm sure she had no interest in.
May she rest in peace now with her beloved Charlie.
We are so sad that our lovely Auntie Betty has passed away, and we will miss her greatly. We have such fond memories of childhood caravan holidays and, in later years, the regular visits she and Uncle Charlie would make to see us in Yorkshire. Those times were always full of warmth, laughter and happiness. Betty will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed. Rest in peace.

Deepest condolences to all who have lost Betty. Anyone who met her will know how warm-hearted, welcoming and kind she was. We would sit for hours over tea and biscuits, chatting about everything and anything, and I’ll truly miss those conversations.
