I feel privileged to have known Betty and be able to call her a friend .To spend time in her company was a blessing and I will cherish those memories always .

For over 20 years, Betty attended our Divine Mercy prayer group on a Monday at 3pm.

I used to pick Betty up and 8 of us had a lovely hours prayer together followed by tea, cakes and a chat in the parish centre.

I like to remember Betty as she was on those days, glamorous, very entertaining, lively, funny, yet loving, gentle and kind. A good listener. Her close friend Peggy Milner would also be there.

I pray they are catching up now in heaven and that they both will rest in peace in the loving arms of Our Lord.

I thank God for a great friend. Amen.

Sincere sympathy to the O'Neill family on the passing of Betty. She was a lovely lady who I got to know during Covid when the Lions Club were delivering food. She loved to chat and certainly her little dog was the centre of her life, the pair were always together walking around the green. RIP
