The Board of Management and Staff of Carrigeen National School are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Betty O’Toole, former teacher in our school.
Betty devoted her entire teaching career to Carrigeen NS, and her contribution to the life of our school and community was immense. She was a dedicated and caring teacher who was held in the highest regard by colleagues, pupils and families alike.
We extend our heartfelt sympathies to Betty’s family, friends and all who knew and loved her. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

So Sorry to hear of Betty's death a lovely Lady a great teacher. She taught our children and they all had great time for her. Condolence to Liam Leisha William extended family friends and neighbours RIP Betty
Betty (Mrs O' Toole) was my first and second class primary school teacher way back in 2004, she was always quick to a smile. Any time I ran into her was a pleasure. So so sorry to hear this. May she rest in peace.
