Condolences to the Byrne family on the passing of a really wonderful person, I have only just heard and am very saddened. I can look back with fond memories of time spent golfing together in Elm Park or just each others company.

It was always a joy to meet up with Betty on my visits to Ireland, a real lady always with a good sense of humor , and loving. Leaving behind a beautiful family who loved and cared for you so much. Mass will be offered for the happy repose of Betty's soul.

So many memories came rushing in when Leonie told us of lovely Betty's death. My sincere condolences to you all. Mum's 90th birthday party in 2014 saw Betty and Mum embrace fondly and reminisce about their Glenabbey Road times. It was wonderful to see these two wonderful elegant, kindhearted women together again. We all have fond memories of growing up on Glenabbey Road with extraordinary neighbours like Betty holding the entire road together in a community. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

They were always there for each other and in recent times reaching out by phone to comfort each other as their health declined. It was heartwarming to witness the strong bond they shared. Betty was a beautiful, elegant, kind and gentle woman and I will remember her in particular for her gorgeous smile! Rest in peace dearest Betty.
