I was so sorry to hear of your about your mam. A truly lovely lady.

I grew up across from the Cullen family and have wonderful memories of Eilish. She was a fantastic character, her kind spirit and compassion touched the lives of so many. Eilish was a trailblazer, ahead of her time and a great role model. She was a wonderful neighbour and friend to our family and her absence will be deeply felt. She will now be reunited with her darling husband Jimmy who she missed dearly. My thoughts are with Marion, Helen, Tom, Jimmy and Paul during this difficult time.
May her beautiful legacy continue to shine brightly in our hearts x

On attending Eilish’s service, I loved hearing of her former life and loving family she had. In our Lord’s arms we now leave “our loved one Eilish sleeping”. Amen

deepest sympathies on the death of Eilish, your beloved mother. It was always a pleasure to see her in the surgery over the past 30 years. We had many interesting conversations over that time. She was an interesting and complex lady, well ahead of her time. Had she been born into a subsequent generation, she would have been afforded many more opportunities. Having grown up on Three Rock Close it is saddening to hear the news about the wonderful Eilish.
You are such a lovely family, and it is a difficult time indeed as I am sure you are still missing your dad Jimmy too. They were a great team.
Eilish was one of a kind and ahead of her time. She was such an interesting person, so intelligent and such a dry wit - once chatting it was hard to drag yourself away.
I learned so much from her and really looked up to her.
She was a great advocate for others.
She was also just so kind overall.
I am certainly thankful that she was such a good friend and neighbour to my mam Anne and my dad John.

I worked alongside Eilish for on the HSE Helpline. She helped thousands of people with her skill, compassion, empathy and humour. She taught us all about how to be present, how to find joy and how to love. She and Jimmy were an amazing couple. I hope that family are now consoled by the fact that she had a life well lived, that touched so many over the years
