My deepest condolences go out to the Harrington family. Liz was a great laugh and could well handle herself in an argument. She was a beautiful woman and I was so lucky to know throughout the years. I was saddened to hear of her passing

I'm very sorry to hear that Elizabeth has passed away. We were in the same class in St Brigid's and walked home from school together. She was lovely. Rest in peace Liz

Stunning farewell liturgy to our beautiful patient Elizabeth Rip

Words cannot express my deepest Sympathy to the Family of Elizabeth Harrington rip. I watched her beautiful and stunning grace filled funeral today on live streaming from the parish church . I experienced such peace, grace, dignity, humility and respect. I particularly liked the fact, there was no eulogy, no laughing, no clapping no nonsense. Everything had already been mentioned. What reverence was in store.for us. I particularly respected and reflected deeply on how the Celebrate was so moved by a visit he had to the deceased before she died in the Mater Hospital and the strength she had in organising her own funeral liturgy from her sick hospital bed. . What lessons we can all can lean from this for our own mortality. My personal view is, we can only experience much suffering before we come to terms with our own destiny and to reach a place of purity and acceptance and grace. God bless all her Family in grieving her tremendous loss. I was particularly touched by the choice of readings and the poem by the late John O Donohue, and how his writings influenced her personal life it epitomised for me true humanity and humility and how we only temporarily occupy this precious earth. Rip

It was a privilege to have met and cared for Liz. I loved our chats. She was a phenomenal lady. Paddy what a wonderful support you were to her. I'm so pleased that ye had your special day. It made such a difference to Liz. She talked about you with so much love. Thinking of you during these tough and challenging days.
