I was so sorry to hear of the death of your beloved Betty. My memories of her are that she was always happy, patient & loving. I’m sure I must have driven her & you demented as a child always calling to your house to ‘mind’ Richard. But she never sent me packing & was always kind & loving towards me. She was unfailingly patient to all who dropped into that office and was a wonderful source of information about the school. Betty was one of those very special people who always had time for others and was so kind and encouraging to me over many years from when I started in Dun Laoghaire Methodist Church as a young naive teenager.
