I was very sad to be told today, about the death of your lovely mam. We had worked together in the airport, She was always so kind to me and good fun to work with. She was a lovely friend to have. Although we had lost touch over the years, when I would think about her , I always smile. She was a Lady .💕❤️

Elizabeth was among a small group of us to start Ashbourne Bridge Club and was as dedicated a player up to christmas as she was in the late '70's. May she rest in peace. In later years she was an influential golfer and was always a mentor in whatever role she took on. She'll be missed. Ar dheis De go raibh a hanam dilis.

Very sad to hear of Elizabeth's passing. She was a wonderful lady who i always enjoyed playing golf with. Elizabeth was the driving force behind the success of the women in golf programme in Ashbourne GC. Very generous with her time and expertise and kept us on track with rules, etiquette and of course proper dress code!

She was a loyal supporter of Ashbourne Golf Club and we served together on the Lotto Committee for many years. She was good company on the club golf trips to Portugal over a number of years She will be sadly missed by all of us who knew her. Our Prayers and thoughts are with you at this sad time.

Sincere sympathy to Peter, Robert, the extended Kane and Bobbett Families and Elizabeth’s wide circle of friends. Elizabeth was a valued and popular member of Ashbourne Golf Club especially the Ladies Club. She served on many committees before being elected Lady Vice Captain in 2011 and Lady Captain in 2012. During her year as Lady Captain she represented the Club with distinction both at home and away. She will always be remembered for setting up the Women in Golf programme in 2012 and was instrumental in running that programme for many years which has been responsible for so many new members joining the ladies Club over the last 12 years.
In addition to her work on committee Elizabeth was a serious competitor in her golf and represented the club in many interclub competitions over the years.
She will be greatly missed by all that knew her in the club. Lady Captain Angela, Captain Ken, President Martin, Cathaoirleach Michael and all the members in the Golf Club send their condolences to you all at this sad time.

Elizabeth would regularly come to my chair yoga class in Ashbourne library. Always looking after others I had no idea she was in declining health . I am shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. She will be sadly missed in and by the class. Rest in peace dear Elizabeth.
