Hearing the very sad news of Liz's passing has left myself and others without a beautiful and compassionate friend. We walked, we talked, we giggled, we sang back in a day, before we all went our separate ways. Liz was one of the most compelling people I have ever met and am so grateful for having her as a dear friend and knowing we had reconnected the past few years.

I met Liz for the first and last time in Alicante in September 2022. During our 7 hours together I realised what a lovely Mother she was. Her thoughts,desires, hopes and plans were entirely focused on her three beloved sons. She will live forever in your hearts and may the three of you together be able to cope with this tragic happening in your lives.

To Luca, Keane & Cuain, you were blessed to have as your Mum the kindest, warmest soul. When I met her last she spoke at length about each you with such great pride. I only met her once about 9 years ago. We had a really great night in the cottages and we had such fun. We were there for some drama workshop that didn't actually happen cos the facilitator didn't make it to Killala. But we didn't mind a bit cos it was a lovely place and we were in great company! And we laughed all night and enjoyed a few glasses of wine! We've been Facebook friends since... lovely special woman. I'm so shocked she's gone...
