I’m sorry I was unable to come to the funeral mass for Liz, but feel privileged to have been able to watch the recording. A beautiful service and tribute to the life of a beautiful person, taken far too early.

Anne-Marie, your reading was a highlight, striking chords with me, as I’m sure it did with many others too, very bravely done, almost as you say, as brave as your sister, who I’m sure would be very proud.

But of course, that’s not really possible. I saw Liz, John, Ava and Jack as often as I could throughout her illness, and Liz was always strong and determined, and despite everything, upbeat and positive. Rest in peace, Liz, we will never forget you, or the fun times we shared with you.

My heartfelt condolences to John, Ava, Jack, Anne, Alec, and her sisters, brothers, family and her many friends. We all share the grief at the loss of our dear friend Liz; let’s all support each other in the days and weeks to come as we miss Liz, and learn to live without her.

It was such a privilege to have known Liz. She was so warm, gentle, calm and gracious. A beautiful soul inside and out, with endless kindness. Liz touched so many hearts and will be so sadly missed.
