I was saddened to hear the news of the death of Liz, my favourite cousin. We were born a few months apart & both sets of parents lived in Parkmore Drive Terenure. I was taken to London when I was only 2 but I remember Liz coming over on holiday in the 1960s. Later years saw our families heading for summer vacations together in Donegal (Doirí Beaga) where Jim & Olive looked after us well and welcomed us when we returned to Dublin in 1967. Liz was a great contact to have to help me get used to an Irish lifestyle. She was also an expert on family history aided by our late aunt Sr Nora Smyth who did the networking to ensure we were kept up to date with news about all our cousins.
