Our dear departed Dad Des was a colleague of Paddy and Lily In Player Wills for many decades. We have fond memories of Lily as a lovely lady. May she rest in peace.

To Paddy, Aisling and all the family, I'm so sorry to have just learned of Lily's passing today. My deepest sympathies go out to all of you. Lily was one of the nicest ladies I have ever met and she was a truly wonderful friend to my grandmother Agnes O'Reilly. When I think of the phrase "Irish mammy" I think of Lily, such a warm, gentle, welcoming lady who was always so kind to my whole family and always had a beautiful smile on her face. Paddy, I am Sandra's sister who lives in Portugal with my husband Paul. You were our saviour one day in the Navan Road when you took Paul to hospital as an emergency. We really owe you his life. Sandra told me about your wife's passing. From the words written to date she sounds like a very special lady and I am sure you and your family will miss her so much.
