I am so saddened to hear about Elizabeth's death. I did not know her very well but having worked with her, I know her to have been a very intelligent, bright, engaging, principled, hard-working, compassionate lady. What a tragic loss to you all. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

I knew Elizabeth many years ago.She was beautiful, statuesque,intelligent and lovely to be with. I was saddened beyond words to hear of her untimely death. It’s very difficult when such a bright soul is taken from the world too soon. My most heartfelt sympathies to her husband,Mam and sisters. We all have wonderful memories. May she rest in peace.

I was deeply saddened by the news of our loss of Elizabeth. She was a singularly genuine, intelligent, beautiful and fun woman.

I first met Elizabeth in 1997 in the restaurant at the Clarence Hotel in Dublin to interview her for a job as a lawyer. I had the great pleasure of working with Elizabeth for most of the 18 years which followed. She always lit up the room with her wit and charm. And she was one of the most trustworthy and kind souls I have ever known.

To Alex and the O'Brien family - you have my deepest empathy and support. And may your memories of Elizabeth comfort you in your loss.

Our heartfelt condolences to the O’Brien and Scheer families. We met Liz back in her salsa-dancing days in Dublin and became friends on and off the dance floor. She was such a beautiful person… kind, warm, welcoming, interesting and intelligent. She also had a fantastic sense of humour! She truly lit up any room she was in. The world is a now a poorer place.
