So very saddened & as shocked to hear that Elizabeth had died. It's been a number of years since I spoke to Liz sadly, my husband & I worked with Liz for many years in IDL., from the late 70s. Liz trained me in taking over her position in Office Services as she moved on to more senior position. She was a huge act to follow, she ran the whole department seamlessly without the credit. She was so organised & efficient in everything she did with patience & always a smile.
I partnered Cathal Farrell in the Business House Leagues against Liz & Marie Duffy what a tough match & great fun always. Those IDL days were sublime fun days.
Liz invited me to play golf with her at The Island Course, I thought I was a good golfer, but Liz was a Master already.
I learned so much from Liz in many ways, she was a deep thinker, sincere, clever & loving woman. She could achieve anything she put her mind to! I'm proud to have know lovely Liz & so sorry she has been taken too soon.
Sincerest condolences to Elizabeths dear Mom & family. May Liz support & carry you all through these terribly sad times.

Deepest smypathy to Liz's family on her untimely death. I was shocked and saddened ro hear of her passing. Her funeral service was uplifting. Elizabeth was passionate and determined about her sport, and with the sports ethic she gravitated to the golf so naturally. I can still see the smile on her face in the pictures when she led our High Spiirits winner in to the winners' enclosure in Wexford. I worked with Liz in Irish Distillers in the International Division, and I was sorry I could not make the funeral.

Sincere sympathy to Liz's family on their very sad loss. I knew Liz through Collette Walsh and Rona Booth, her personal friends. I watched the Mass on line this morning. May Liz rest in peace.

It was with a deep sense of sadness , I heard of Liz’s death, just so unfair to lose her far too soon , in the late seventies at Irish distillers , one of my tasks was to bring some reports upto marketing , Liz was my first port of call , and always a great exchange , so so proud of her portmarnock roots and her beloved ‘ Golf links ‘ , Liz was bright , witty and cheerful and could hold her own in any company , to Mrs O Dwyer , all her family and many friends , may Liz forever rest in peace

It was with profound sadness that I learned of the passing of my cherished friend Liz, a friendship that spanned almost 50 years. We were work colleagues in Irish Distillers and became firm friends as we represented I.D.L. in the Dublin Business Houses Tennis League. We usually celebrated with a glass of Jameson post match, win or loose. In more recent years we shared a love of racing, both being members of the High Spirits Racing Club, more Jameson post race, win or loose.
Mrs O’Dwyer, Helene and Larry, Gerry, John, Tomas and David may we offer our heartfelt condolences on your unbearably sad loss and we hope your great memories will sustain you over the coming difficult days.

Lizzie, fair winds my treasured friend, I will carry you with me always and miss you forever.
