I have so many good memories of Aunt Liz, and Aunt Esther. Some from Childhood, when we visited them in Florida, and spent the day in Disneyland. But mostly as an adult when I always made it a priority to visit them when I was in the US. Most recently, in 2022, I spent a lovely few days with them in Georgia. Even though I had rented a car, they insisted on doing the driving and showing off their nephew to all their friends in the community. Liz and I sat up late into the night, chatting, and I had the chance to learn just how incredible her life was, and how much generosity she had for those more in need. Even though she spent most of her life in the US, she always asked after everybody back home and was proud of her family and her roots. She had, what I consider to be very O'Meara traits; she was chatty, loved a party, was stubborn, and was humble about her many good deeds. I was hoping to see her this September, and trips to the US won't be the same now. RIP Liz. Love you lots.

My deepest sympathy to Aeneas, Mary and Patricia on the death of their Sister Elizabeth in Georgia USA. I have very fond childhood memories of Elizabeth and Melrose. My Aunt lived by the Boys National School. And my late sister Maeve lived with my aunt. We were forever popping down to Melrose and Elizabeth and Noel (RIP) popping up to Crann Ard (the house that later became Dr Hayes’ surgery). Elizabeth was great fun. I will watch the month’s mind mass on the 28th June from St Mary’s of the Rosary Nenagh on the web. Rest in eternal peace Elizabeth.
