It was always a pleasure to meet Lila on the Avenue & stop for a chat. An extremely kind lady, who always made time for my late Dad, Joe. The annual Christmas tree reveal was memorable. A lovely befitting service for a lovely lady.

Lila, we will all miss you. I'll always remember the fun times we had when we stayed with you & Grandma. As Gavin already mentioned, the parties in your bedroom & also the one that we had, all squeezed into your new shed. I also fondly remember how you pretended to love the "nose guard" I made for you out of an avocado peel to protect your nose from getting sunburnt!! You always got down on the floor playing with us when we were little as you continued to do with Feidhlim & Sadhbh. Thanks for leaving me with so many wonderful memories. I am so happy Feidhlim & Sadhbh got to know you, your cuckoo clock gave them so much joy..

I am so sorry to hear the sad news of Lila's passing. Worked with her in Clerys and it was a privlege to be a colleague and friend of hers for many years. Lila was one of "Clerys Best".

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Lila, i worked with her for a while in Clery's and we used to get the No 19 Bus home together in the evenings. She was such an elegant lady and always had time for a chat and she had a lovely smile. Sincere sympathy to the Ryan Family. May Lila rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of your loss of Lila. She was a total lady and a wonderfully lovely neighbour. A gentle person with a generous soul. Lila opened her door for my daughter so that she could hear and witness with wonder of her clocks and especially the cockoo clocks chiming. A treasured memory. Lila also discovered within herself a talent for oil landscape painting a number of years ago. Lila will always be remembered as a wonderful part of our lives. May she rest in peace.
