Very sad to hear that Elaine has died and sorry to be only hearing it today.She was a wonderful woman!She minded our children and we used to marvel at her energy.She was always busy, chatty,kind and warm.My abiding memory will always be of one baby in the big,old-fashioned black pram,Elaine at the helm and the other children holding on to the sides of the pram as she walked them around to Daddy Brendan's where in the company of the dog they could run free in the big garden!Thank you,Elaine for everything.

It was with sadness I heard of Elaine's death late yesterday. Sincere sympathy to all her sons and their families also her sisters Marie and Bernie .Elaine was the 1st person I met when I started nursing at Jervis St Hospital and have never forgotten that meeting ,she was full of enthusiasm and knowledge about "The Jerve".and insisted on carrying my case! across the yard to the nurses home! Great memories of Elaine and her sisters the late Veronica,Marie,Bernie all of whom nursed at The Jerve over many years.Rest in peace Elaine with your loved ones who are there before you.Maureen.
