First crossed paths with Shirley 47 years ago when we became neighbours on Hand Park. Since then we became part of her extended family. She embraced us
as one of her own. Thru the good times and bad Shirley's attitude never changed. Always positive. We have lost not only a friend but a wonderful neighbour. Who's memory we shall never forget. Cutting the grass will never be the same

Dear Henry, Ronan, Nigel ,Cian, Jen, Carrie , Sandra and all the grandchildren and Shirley's siblings and friends, we have lost our miracle woman and I am so sorry. Shirley's family meant everything to her and despite her health problems during the years she always defied the odds and even astonished the medical staff. She had so much to live for and her unexpected passing is very sad. Whenever you met Shirley you came away feeling better about yourself.
I want to send my deepest sympathy and love to all of you. Shirley will be so missed . Slán go fóill . Rest in peace.
