So sad to hear of the sad passing of Ms Walsh. She was my teacher in the presentation school in Waterford. She was my favorite teacher, she was gentle & caring person & a wonderful teacher. May her gentle soul rest in peace. 🙏

My sincerest and heartfelt condolences to both the Walsh and Liddane families on the death of a very special person, Liz. She played a major part in my early years in Waterford. Arriving from Galway to teach in the Presentation Primary School, I knew nobody and Liz was one of the first people to welcome me. She made sure that I never felt alone and over the years we became great friends. We even shared a home together for some years. They were wonderful years, Liz will always have a special place in my heart, she was an outstanding friend and collegue and will be sorely missed by everybody who had the privilege to know her. May she rest in eternal peace, slan leat, Liz, Imelda Kirwan.

In 2006 a few of us in the Trade Union branch considered extending SERT in the West Waterford area and in early 2007, Liz volunteered to assist with the administration of same resulting in an exceptionally excellent service being provided for patients around the West of the County and as they say the rest is history as many are indebted for the support and service they received.
