Ella Marry

My deepest sympathies to Ella’s parent, her son, her family and friends.

I only knew Ella for a few weeks, but her love for her son Benny was there for all to see. From what I saw, everything Ella was trying to do in her life was for Benny.

It’s with great sadness that Ella won’t get to see Benny grow up, but if ever gets to read this he needs to know that her love for him was infectious. When she spoke of him her eyes lit up and the smile on her face grew ever wider.

Ella was there for me when I needed help and she was always a shoulder to lean on.

I hope all that loved her can take some solas from knowing how caring she was to others.

May she rest in peace.

I only had the privilege to know Ella for a few months but she was the strongest, kindest, gentlest and most selfless soul. She was always there for other people when they needed someone. Her love for Benny was unparalleled and she was so proud to be his Mum. I’m sorry to only have heard the news now, my deepest condolences to her entire family. <3

It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to my beautiful granddaughter, Ella.

From the moment she arrived, Ella brought light into our lives - always a breath of sunshine whenever she visited. I will forever cherish those early years when her regular visits filled our home with laughter, warmth, and joy. Her smile, her energy, her gentle spirit - she made everything brighter.

As a grandmother, nothing prepares you for such a loss. But my faith gives me strength, and I hold firmly to the belief that Ella is now at peace, watching over us with that same radiant smile. She is with us still - in every sunbeam, in every quiet moment, and in every memory we carry.

Ella, you will always live on in my heart, my thoughts, and my prayers. Until we meet again, my darling girl.

Ella was just 21 — full of promise, full of feeling, and loved more deeply than she could ever have known.

I remember the immense joy and happiness her birth and early years brought. Ella’s arrival lit up our family. She was all softness and light, and watching her grow into a thoughtful, creative, and kind young woman was a privilege. Her passing was sudden, tragic, and far too soon — a loss that has left a quiet ache in all of us who loved her.

I often think of those Sunday morning breakfasts at Granny’s when Ella and Sophie were small — both full of chat and curiosity. They felt ordinary then, but now they are some of the most cherished memories I have.

Though Ella's path was not always easy, she gave so much — her love, her laughter, her presence. And she gave the world her beautiful little boy, just three years old, who carries her spirit forward. In him, her light endures.

She was cherished. She is missed. She will always be loved. Rest in peace Ella x

I am devastated to hear of Ella’s passing. She truly lit up the room with her brightness, and was always making those around her smile. I am grateful to have known her. Sending my deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Ella had a kind of brightness you don’t forget. Elegant, clever, warm — she made people feel seen, included, and loved. It was a joy to watch her grow into the remarkable woman and mother she became.

The words shared over these past days “a beautiful soul,” “a true friend,” “a light” say it all. She left a mark on everyone she met.

She was taken far too soon. But we had her for a brief while and that time has left an indelible imprint on all our lives.

Her bond with her son Brendan (Benny) was something pure and beautiful. She poured all her love, energy and joy into him, and in him, her light will continue to shine.

Our mother, Ella’s grandmother Mary, shared a deep and quiet bond with her …a first grandchild, and a source of immense pride and love.

Ella was a spark. A light. The kind you carry with you long after it’s gone.

Rest in peace, Ella. You’ll always be with us.

Ella made everyone smile. She was funny, confident and sweet. The girls and I who were lucky enough to board with her at Bandon Grammar spent so many nights laughing together. Even when she had tonsillitis and could hardly sleep she was able to laugh about it, pretending to snore loudly. She was a fantastic mother and a talented writer. I can’t imagine the loss that Sophie, Sarah, Declan and Benny must feel and I hope you all find comfort in knowing how much she was loved.

Ella was always such a beautiful and bubbly girl inside and out, and I am deeply saddened by her passing. Sending love and condolences to her family and close friends in this tough time🤍
