Condolences to the family from a distant cousin in the USA, Allison Fletcher. I am Granddaughter of Bethel Hutchinson, Ella's cousin. Niece to Barbara Hutchinson and daughter to Judith Hutchinson, who both visited Ella in Ireland. I was penpals with Valerie Tait when we were girls. I am sorry I never met Ella and her family, but I have heard of them through my family for years. Sending you my Aloha!

Very sorry to hear of Ella’s passing my mother and father lived with Ella and Bob back in the 1950s and through that friendship for soo many years , my mother wrote to Ella every Christmas thereafter , sincere condolences to Ella’s family RIP Ella

My sincere condolences to Gwendoline and Lucinda and her brother, grandchildren and extended family and friends. My late mam Teresa Sharkey and my dad Michael Sharkey lived with Ella and Bob . They were so kind to both of them and the family. Ella kept in touch with my mam throughout the years by letter and recently by phone. I continued to write and phone Ella which she enjoyed. I will miss her now. Rest in peace Ella.
