Ellen Gormley

Ellen was one of those “once in a lifetime” characters. She lit up every room, brought a smile to everyone’s faces, and was the life of every party. It was a privilege to have known her and to have shared laughs with her during school, on class trips, and at school parties. To her family and close friends, I am so terribly sorry for your loss - words cannot describe. Rest in peace, Ellen. You will be sorely missed by all, but rest easy knowing that you will live on in our thoughts and will continue to bring a smile to everyone’s faces when we think of you. RIP

So saddened to hear the awful news of Ellen's passing. She seemed such a wonderful sweet girl. Condolences to Paul, Mary, Claire, Anna and all the Gormley family...Paul is such a great Cavan GAA supporter for a long many years and a good Ballyconnell / Kildallan man like myself..RIP Ellen.

Sincere condolences to all of Ellen’s family. In the short time that I was lucky enough to have her as my form teacher, she showed me so much kindness. As a teacher she cared for all her students and as someone with such a beautiful soul it was near impossible to be around her and not be smiling. She will be forever missed and loved by anybody who was fortunate enough to meet her. May she rest peacefully.
