I only heard today (July 8th) of the sad and sudden loss of dear Ellen. She was always so kind to myself and Tom when we'd visit the Well. Such a lovely, friendly lady, who will be sadly missed. Deepest condolences to all her loved ones.

So sorry to hear that Ellen has passed...i have such funny and fond memories working together in Fitzwilliam St ..she alway spoke of her sister Maise in the restauraunt in Kinsale ..she was one in a million and will be greatly missed xx

So sorry to learn of Ellen's death. We went to school together and we were all so delighted to see her at our reunion a few years ago. Not having seen Ellen for decades thrilled to find her as full of life and attitude as always. My sympathies to her family I'm sure she will be very missed.

To the Higgen's and Foley families I am so sorry to hear of Ellen's untimely passing. I met Ellen 23 years ago in Baggot st and had the pleasure of being her hairdresser. We had many a laugh and I so looked forward to seeing her... I got to know how much family and friends meant to Ellen and how proud she was of her family. My deepest condolences to Sean, laura, William and family, Ellen was a good one and will be deeply missed. RIP Ellen.

Dear Maisie , Our Sincere and Heartfelt sympathy to the Higgins, Foley and Costello families. Denis and I were so deeply shocked and saddened at Ellen’s untimely passing. Many years ago I worked with Ellen, and friends Mary Frances and Concilii at OLH ,what fun and laughter we shared together. No one, only us four friends knew what mischief we got up to at OLH.Ellen was a breath of fresh air. She was just a lovely bubbly person always so kind and friendly to everyone. We lost contact over the years but five years ago we had the good fortune of meeting up at Kevin and Rebecca’s wedding-what a really great day. It was like old times again, we laughed and shared so many happy memories.
