I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Ellen, such a beautiful soul, taken too soon. I have warm memories of Ellen from when I first met her in Colaiste Ide when we studied Travel and Tourism and we also then worked for the same company Allianz for a while. Such a loving, warm, bright and beautiful girl. Sincere condolences to all of her family and friends. May she rest in peace. X

Ellen was one of my lovely Allianz girls who I was lucky enough to meet when I worked there. We had such fun times over the years, hanging out at Sue-Enda & Caroline's, many work nights out in the 52 & Howl at the Moon & trips to visit me in Clare when I moved back down. The village of Corofin hasn't been the same since & the locals still talk about the Allianz girls. Ellen will be greatly missed but I feel lucky to have known her. I met Ellen on my first day of school at 4 years of age , and until the day we left primary I alway remember her as the most intelligent , pleasant girl in the class ! If there was something u didn’t know Ellen was the girl to ask ! She was clever , funny and kind . Thoughts are with her family at this sad time . I met Ellen on my first day at Dell back in May 2017 and what a journey it had been since then. She was THE go to person for any issues and was always available for a good laugh. She was one of the kindest humans I have come across.
Rest easy Elle, you had so much more to give and I would miss our lunch sessions with the chip sandwiches. My condolences will always be there with the Malone family and friends of Ellen. xx

I met Ellen on her last year at St. Mary's Baldoyle, my friend Monica and me went abroad to learn English and got lucky to be placed on Ellen's classroom.

She was one of the first persons to talk to us, even when it was difficult because of our poor language skills at the time, but she was always nice and caring, wanting to know stuff from Mexico and always worried we were having a good time up there in Ireland.

Had the luck to keep in touch with her through letters, Christmas cards and mixtapes, and then through e-mails and social media, I consider her my friend even when we haven't seen each other in 20 years.

I'm really sorry I didn't get the chance to see her again; hope her family, friends and colleagues have the much needed strength they deserve during these sad times.

She'll be miss forever, but also she was one of those few people who will always be remembered.

Ellen was a regular and much loved client of ours at the hair salon in manly. She was always cheery and bubbly, having us all laughing through her appointments. The last time I done her hair, she was my last client of the night, we locked the salon doors and had Westlife on full blast singing our hearts out before she flew home to Ireland the next day, she was so excited to be going back to see family who she loved so much and spoke a lot of.

I started doing Ellen’s hair a few years ago and she became one of our favourite clients, we all absolutely adored her. She was always so lovely, happy and just beautiful inside and out. We would whack spice girls on loud and sing along and laugh - We were so excited when there was a rumour spice girls were coming to Sydney we made a pact to get each other a ticket if we managed to get through to the booking office. I will miss our funny chats - you made me laugh so much. Rest in Peace lovely Ellen x

I was fortunate enough to meet Ellen the day I started at Dell, Ellen welcomed me to the team & has always been a friendly face in the office.

Ellen was always smiling and was a joy to talk too, we’d help each other whenever we could, although Ellen was a subject expert in the most things.

I really do miss our catch ups; Ellen took time to get to know everyone in & outside of the office and I left every conversation smiling. It has taken me some time to get to grips with not having her around.

Someone so special can never be forgotten, may Ellen’s soul rest in peace.

I knew Ellen for her last 2 years. We shared a number of special memories after we were lucky enough to meet at Tess Mornane’s 30th when we were both new to Sydney.

Ellen brought a lot of joy to my life and I’m so sad to lose her. I am grateful that I knew her and I know her family meant the world to her.

I did not know Ellen well, but she was always very friendly to me in DFS, and she seemed to be with everyone in work. Ellen was one of the people I met in Cherrywood first, for a day of exchanging information before we moved over there in 2013. She made an impression on me then, and she was very approachable when I helped in her team for some weeks in the early days.
