As Mike Moran said she educated us wild young Limerick Greystonians in the art of debating, story writing/poetry and rocking to Elton amonst others in our garage in number 14. A trail blazer in her time. The photo of Nell is just lovely - a class act.

Dear Jack Therese Tina Mary and family,
I write to express my condolences to you on the death of your Mother. I met Mrs. Lawlor nearly sixty years when I was a boy and we all lived in Greystones, Limerick. Looking at her beautiful smile brings back so many special memories of Nell, a wonderful kind , caring and giving woman. She set up debating groups and how can I forget the wonderful hops in Mrs Fielding's garage as we bopped to Elton John! She was held in such high esteem in our neighbourhood. A Lady that looked so grand as she cycled her bike around saying hello to all. Can I say our loss is Heavens gain. In these sad and difficult times I will join you by Zoom for Mrs Lawlors funeral Mass from my home in Melbourne.Rest in peace dear Lady
