So sad to hear the news of Ellen's passing, a lovely lady and neighbour from Booterstown. In recent years Sallynoggin, always had a smile and a pleasure to meet. Rest in peace.

Our sincere sympathy to the O'Connell and Cunningham families on the death of Ellen. May she now rest in peace in her Heavenly Home with Tony and the family members who have passed on. We have very fond memories of Ellen. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this very sad time.

So sad to hear of Ellen’s sad passing. A lovely lady who was kind, thoughtful and good fun. She is now reunited with Tony. They were a wonderful couple together and so devoted to each other. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May she rest in peace.

Thinking of Ellen, I'm so sad to hear of her passing. She was a family friend, a bonus aunt to myself, my sister and brother.
Such a warm and fun person. Always able to laugh I fondly remember her laugh and cheekily yelling 'feck off'.
I will always remember her generosity for how she was always put kindness first. Sleep well Ellen ❤️

Ellen was a true lady. I will never forget her kindness towards me growing up and how she always made everyone feel welcome in her home. I made my first apple tart with her, and celebrated many family occasions with Ellen and Tony. My children always talk about her fondly and we feel lucky to have known such a wonderful person.

Our sympathy to the O’Connell family at this sad time.
We knew Ellen when she worked in the convent in Booterstown - had many happy chats with her and our aunt, Sr Eileen (Byrne), and community- and lots of her wonderful scones.
Also knew her from the choir in Our Lady of Victories, Sallynoggin. May she rest in peace.

Ellen was a bonus grandparent to me growing up.I'll remember her beautiful apple tarts and great sense of humour and all the birthdays we celebrated.
