We met her on so many Sundays at 10:30 am in St Francis, and had the great pleasure of her conversation there, and in so many meetings around her home in the city centre. I can still remember seeing her in her St. Al's uniform and, to me, she looked so grown up! Later, I used to meet her in town when we both worked in the city and she always had a kind word and always enquired after our family. She was one of a kind. May she rest in peace.

Emer was always one of the nicest people one would ever meet: gentle, kind, always smiling, it was an absolute pleasure to have known such a rare treasure. I was so sad to to read of Emer's passing. I was in Emer's class in Junior infants in Glasheen Girls School and also in Als. It was always a pleasure to meet her at our class reunions over the years. She was the most gentle kind and caring person I ever met. Rest in peace Emer.
